The Envelope please....

It’s time to step up to the plate and with generosity and sacrifice so that we move forward in helping children, youth, families, adults, seniors, people - hurting or happy - discover the fullness of life in Christ.

To help us simplify matters please use the special envelope supplied for this campaign and DO NOT include any tithes or other offerings in this envelope.


If you want to bring this in early, please place it in the offering bag.  It will be set aside till Nov 15th when we will count all the offerings and pledges at one time.  You may also drop it off at the office during office hours.

Name and address info is important as this envelope serves as a legal document as part of our charitable status with the government.


GIFTS:

Please indicate in the first box the amount that you are giving in the offering that is usable by the Church immediately.  Check the option that describes the method of this gift.  Please note that normally debit gifts are left in the box in the kitchen but not for this offering.  Please place the debit slip into this envelope and bring to the designated special offering.


PLEDGES:

Pledges are broken into two categories:  Monthly or one time. 

In the first box put the amount of any gift you plan to give but not as a set monthly amount.   For example: You may be planning to give $100 from your expected Christmas bonus and another $500 from your income tax return.  Then simply mark $600 in the “My Pledge Gift” box.

If you are wanting to give a little extra each month for the duration of this campaign (6 months) then mark the monthly amount in the line provided and multiply it by 6 and put the total in the “my monthly pledge gift” box.  For example: you may want to give $200/month extra each month (over and above your tithes of course) and so you would put 6 x 200 = $1,200 in the box.


  1. Q.How do I bring in my pledge gifts later?   Simply use a regular church offering and mark the amount under “Building”.  Make sure your name is clearly identified on the envelope.  The amount you give will be deducted from the amount you pledged.  You can bring in your pledge gifts at any time and at any amount.


ALL PLEDGES ARE TO BE FULFILLED WITHIN 6 MONTHS.  If you are expecting to use your Tax return to fulfill your pledge please try and get your taxes in as early as possible.  Our aim is to have these amounts in by APRIL 30th.  If you are not sure when your tax return may come in please go ahead and pledge it anyway.  We’ll understand if some of the pledges don’t come in till the first part of May.
